Agni is a beautiful small beach where most swimmers come by sea rather than by car as until a few years ago there was no road leading directly to the beach and could only be reached through pathways. Large pebbles, wooden piers for boats and speedboats, abundant vegetation that reaches up until the waves, are the features of this small paradise which offers tranquility and isolation to the visitors. The waters in Agni are very clean and deepen abruptly, a fact that makes them ideal for diving and underwater exploration. Agni beach is popular to the Corfiots especially for its superb taverns which are by the seashore and their specialty is domestic food and seafood. In Agni you can find parasols and deck-chairs but, also sloops depart from here in order to transport you to other nearby beautiful beaches, such as Kalami. Above the beach there, are a few rental apartments for those who wish to stay by the sea.
