Agios Petros beach in Palaiokastritsa is located near the Monastery of Palaiokastritsa under the parking lot of the village. Agios Petros beach is covered with a mixture of sand and pebbles, with a turquoise crystal clear sea on a very pretty and verdant landscape. On this beach, as well as on all the other beaches in the area, the waters are very cold due to underwater sea currents. The beach of Agios Petros is relatively small in length but, it is very beautiful and organized. There are available deck-chairs and parasols for hire and a great range of sea sports such as waterskiing, jet skiing, pedalos and paragliding. From Agios Petros beach you can also rent a boat in order to explore the caves along the coast, and also the numerous seashores of the region.In the nearby beach, Ampelaki, the oldest diving center of Europe is in operation as Palaiokastritsa is well known for its interesting sea bed which attracts tourists from around the globe.
