Ampelaki beach

Ampelaki beach in Palaiokastritsa is considered the most peaceful in the region. It is accessible only on foot. Ampelaki is a small but very beautiful beach located in a verdant area. It is covered by a mixture of pebbles with sand and its emerald waters are very cold as are all the beaches of Palaiokastritsa. In Ampelaki beach you can find available deck-chairs and parasols for hire and also showers. It is possible to engage in different sea sports. You can also rent a boat in order to explore the isolated beaches of the region and its many caves along the coast. On the right side of the beach, one can find the first diving center established in Europe in 1963 which operates continuously ever since. It is not random that this school is found in Palaiokastritsa which is known worldwide for its exceptionally interesting sea bed and its underwater caves. In order to get to Ampelaki beach, you must follow the small road shortly after the Apollon hotel near the parking lot of the residence.
